TMC, Congress protest in Parliament against ‘delay’ in release of MGNREGA fund to Bengal
TMC and Congress MPs held a protest in Parliament on Tuesday against the Union government for allegedly stoppping MNREGA funds to West Bengal.
IEM-UEM Group, Kolkata organised a felicitation ceremony “Abhinandan” for Asian Games award winners from Bengal to acknowledge their huge success in the arena of global sports platform on Tuesday at the University campus in New Town.
The Welcome address was given by Prof. Debashis Majumder, UEM Kolkata who welcomed all and mentioned the great achievement of the sports personalities present in achieving their glory at the International Level. Jahar Das, secretary, Bengal Olympic Association mentioned about the importance of the growth in support system for such achievements.

Prof. Dr. Satyajit Chakrabarti, chancellor, UEM, Kolkata was also present and this felicitation ceremony was done under his active guidance.
