While former national general secretary of the BJP and MP Dilip Ghosh sent 101 kg of Sundarbans honey for the the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Lord Ram in Ayodhya as a gift, state BJP president and MP Sukanta Majumdar has now sent 11 quintals of Govind Bhog rice from South Dinajpur as a special gift for Ram Lalla. Dilip Ghosh had previously sent 101 kg of honey from Sundarbans. Today, the BJP state president sent a truck with sacks of rice from Balurghat to Ayodhya.
Gifts for Ram Lalla have been sent from different states, including 600 kg of ghee from Rajasthan, laddus from Vrindavan, and items from Janakpur, Sita’s home. The BJP state president and MP from Balurghat expressed that the Govind Bhog rice has been sent specifically for the well-being of Ram Lalla. “This rice could be used for the bhog of Ram Lalla,” he said. Gifts continue to pour in for Ram Lalla, including a 24- quintal bell for the temple.
A giant cart weighing 1265 kg has arrived from Hyderabad, and after the temple inauguration, 111 maunds of Prasadi Laddu will be offered. While the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Lord Ram in Ayodhya will be held tomorrow, on the same day, the chief minister Mamata Banerjee called for a ‘solidarity march’ in Kolkata. MP Dilip Ghosh strongly criticised this solidarity march, saying: “Those who destroy solidarity in the name of solidarity march, are again coming to the streets”.
