A cycle rally on 14th of this month set out its journey all the way to Dacca in Bangladesh sending out messages of love and brotherhood between the two countries. Students and teachers of different schools and colleges have joined hands in organising the rally trying to bring the people of both the neighbouring countries closer, even though boundaries drawn on paper divides them.
The spokesperson of the cycle team Saibal Banerjee said , “We will cover 500km, following the road route Chandannagar-Ranna Ghat-Gedhe from here, crossing the border entering ChuwadangaKustia-Pabna-KasinathpurManikganj-Dacca.

To save nature from pollution we have opted for cycle ride. After reaching Dacca on 21 February we will express our homage at Bhasha Sahid Minar, meet people and exchange views. We reach the message of love, peace, brotherhood and communal harmony.
