METRO TO RUN ADDITIONAL SERVICES ON SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS BEFORE PUJA
Anticipating heavy rush on weekends before the upcoming Durga Puja, Kolkata Metro Railway has decided to run on Saturdays and Sundays in the Blue Line from 14 September.

In the Green Line, the carrier is to run a total of 130 services from Monday to Friday daily. Services will be available at 12-15 minute intervals in both directions and there will be no commercial runs on Sundays. The first service is to be available at 7am from both the ends while the last service is to be run at 9.45pm.
In the Kavi Subhash to Hemanta Mukhopadhyay stretch, the city Metro has decided to run 48 daily services, between Monday to Friday at 20 minutes intervals. No services will be available on Saturdays and Sundays.

The timing of the first service in this line has been kept as 9am from both ends while that of th3 last is 4.40pm.
As informed by the carrier, a total of 36 services are to be run daily between Joka and Majerhat, from Monday to Friday, at 25 minute intervals. The first service here is to start at 8.30am and the last service is to be run at 3.35pm.
Services will not be available on Saturdays and Sundays.
