Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president and MP Sukanta Majumder today said that money should be recovered from Trinamul Congress’ tainted leaders, who accepted bribes from SSC candidates for giving them jobs.
He also said that people may prepare a list of those corrupt leaders and submit them to BJP state headquarters. “Our party knows well how to recover the money from those criminal leaders and we shall extract all money from them, earned by evil means,” he said.
Mr Majumdar said the situation turned so bad that the state government is regularly being chided by the Calcutta High Court in the SSC scam. He also condemned the state government and chief minister Mamata Banerjee for not allowing the central government health scheme Ayushman Bharat in Bengal. “The state-run health scheme Swasthya Sathi, which instead of helping people is causing severe inconvenience to people in medical emergencies. People rushed to hospitals with critical patients only to be turned away by the hospitals by giving lame excuses. People became victims of Mamata’s cheap politics,” said Mr Majumdar.
