Anubrata Mondal delivers message of unity at TMC Bijoya Sammilani
In a significant move, Anubrata Mondal delivered a message of unity to party workers and leaders during a TMC Bijoya Sammilani event in Muraroi, Birbhum district.
Political clash broke out at Dinhata in Cooch Behar late this evening.
Trouble broke out as outgoing MP of Cooch Behar Nisith Pramanik was returning to his home at Bhetaguri in Dinhata when the Trinamul Congress workers in association with a group of traders were celebrating the birthday of North Bengal Development Minister Udayan Guha there.
Mr Guha alleged that the Union minister of state for home affairs Nisith Pramanik allegedly had attacked him.

Significantly, Mr Guha chased Mr Pramanik as the central forces allegedly resorted to lathi charge. The police had to interfere to bring the situation under control.
Several workers of both political parties, including a senior police officer and a TMC worker, were injured as clashes broke out.
