ED raids SDPI offices in Thiruvananthapuram, Malappuram
As part of the nationwide crackdown, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday conducted raids at Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) offices in Thiruvananthapuram and Malappuram.
Kolkata, 6 August: Chief minister Mamata Banerjee said that the Basumati Sahitya Mandir, publishing house, which completed hundred years will continue to exist for coming years.
“The Basumati Sahitya Mandir, which published dailies and monthly magazine plays major role in reviving society. Many eminent Bengali litterateurs write in the publication. Bengal is proud of Basumati,” said Miss Banerjee.
Noted Bengali novelists Mani Shankar Mukherjee, Sanjib Chattopadhyay were present in the
