13 injured after train derails in New York City
At least 13 people were injured after a passenger train derailed in New York City, authorities said.
An ART van was brought to the spot to re-rail the coach and restore normal train movement from the platform.
A coach of the 38908 AmtaHowrah EMU local while entering Howrah Station got derailed at about 9.45 am today. No injury was reported in the incident, according to the railways.
According to the South Eastern Railway, the incident occurred at Platform number 19 when the local EMU was about to enter the new complex of Howrah station. The third coach of the rake from the rear side got derailed, according to the South Eastern Railway.
