Baranagar village in Murshidabad district has been selected as the best tourism village in India in the agri-tourism village category in the Best Tourism Village competition held by the ministry of tourism.
The event is expected to see the participation of over 350 delegates, including 60 distinguished guests and representatives from consulates of more than eight countries.
The award was presented by Odisha's Minister of Forest, Environment & Climate Change, Ganesh Ram Singh Khuntia.
