Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari inaugurated a 5KWh lithium battery with a hybrid inverter by Getsun Power, a vertical of Sainik Industries Pvt Ltd, at his residence here on Wednesday.
This event was also witnessed by distinguished scientist and MD Greenstat India, Dr JP Gupta, executive director ,Sainik Industries, Mr Apaar Rastogi, president of Sainik Industries, Mr Mahendra Rustagi and others. The launch aligns with the government of India’s ‘Make in India’ initiative, emphasising sustainable non-fossil energies and India’s goal towards net Carbon zero by 2070 and support towards National Energy Storage Mission (NESM) grid-scale ESS and domestic manufacturing target for energy storage of 500 GW by 2030. The Home Solutions Lithium Battery is a testament to Getsun Power’s commitment to fostering a greener future while promoting indigenous technology. Mr Gadkari lauded the company’s efforts in advancing energy storage solutions, marking a pivotal step towards sustainable development. This innovation reinforces Getsun Power’s leadership in promoting eco-friendly energy solutions.
