Ajith Kumar, the popular Tamil actor, had a close call while participating in a practice session for the upcoming Dubai 24 Hours race, also known as the 24H Dubai 2025.
The actor, who is in Dubai to compete in the prestigious motorsport event, was involved in a car crash on the racing track.

In dramatic footage that surfaced online, Ajith’s car can be seen spinning out of control, hitting the barriers multiple times before coming to a halt.

However, Ajith Kumar emerged from the incident without injury. His manager, Suresh Chandra, reassured fans, confirming that the actor was “absolutely fine” and that nothing serious had occurred.
“By God’s grace, nothing happened to him. He is fit and fine,” Chandra said. He further mentioned that Ajith is expected to return to the track the next day for another practice session, signaling a quick recovery.
Ajith, who owns the racing team Ajith Kumar Racing, has a deep passion for motorsports. His team was launched in September 2023, and Ajith has a long history in racing, having competed in various prestigious events.
His motorsport career includes stints in the Asian Formula BMW Championship, the British Formula 3 Championship, and the FIA Formula 2 Championship. Before transitioning to car racing, Ajith began his racing journey in motorcycles, competing in the National Motorcycle Racing Championship.
In addition to his motorsport pursuits, Ajith Kumar is one of the most well-known actors in Tamil cinema. With over 61 films to his name, he has won numerous awards, including four Vijay Awards, three Filmfare Awards South, and three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards.
