Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma embarked on his investment-seeking tour of Germany on Monday, following a hectic schedule. He met with Florian Herrmann, Head of the Bavarian State Chancellery and Minister of State for Federal Affairs, visited SFC Energy Industry, and toured the Deutsches Museum in Munich.

Chief Minister Sharma, who is on an official visit to Germany and the UK to attract foreign investment in Rajasthan, held productive discussions regarding the prospects of German firms’ projects in the state and their participation in the 3-day ‘Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit’ in Jaipur from December 9 to 11.

Bilateral issues concerning economic ties, technological collaboration, and financial assistance were also discussed during the talks.

At SFC Energy Industry, Sharma studied advanced technology, production procedures, research and development resources, and quality control systems. He also deliberated with the company management on future prospects for cooperation and collaboration in the renewable energy sector.

He highlighted the initiatives his government is implementing in Rajasthan’s green energy sector.

The Chief Minister was impressed by exhibits showcasing various technologies, scientific and industrial processes, and innovative initiatives at the Deutsches Museum.

Sharma stated, “The Rajasthan Government is also working on establishing innovation centers for academic, research, and technological studies.”

Earlier, Chief Minister Sharma received a warm welcome from Non-Resident Rajasthanis (NRRs) upon his arrival at Munich Airport this morning.
