PM Modi receives Malaysia counterpart Anwar Ibrahim in ceremonial welcome at Rashtrapati Bhavan
Prime Minister Narendra Modi received his Malaysia counterpart Anwar Ibrahim in a ceremonial welcome at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi on Tuesday.
Modi will take oath as prime minister for the third consecutive term, the only leader after Nehru to be able to do so.
Narendra Modi swearing-in ceremony: Narendra Modi took oath as Prime Minister of India for the third consecutive term. He was administered oath of office by President Droupadi Murmu in a glittering ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Modi became only the first leader after Jawaharlal Nehru to take oath as PM for three consecutive terms.
Besides Modi, BJP leaders Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, party president JP Nadda, Nirmala Sitharaman, Dr S Jaishankar and Piyush Goyal among others were sworn in as Cabinet ministers.

JDU leader Lallan Singh, LJP (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan, JDS leader HD Kumaraswamy were among the prominent faces from NDA allies who took oath as Cabinet ministers.
Former Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, former Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar, and BJP leader Jual Oram were among the new faces inducted into the Modi Cabinet.
The historic ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi was attended by several head of states, including Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina, Maldivian President Dr Mohamed Muizzu, and Nepal PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachand’, among others.
