Voting for single-phase Maharashtra assembly election begins
Voting began at 7 am on Wednesday for the single-phase Maharashtra assembly elections and will conclude at 6 pm. Polling is taking place across 288 assembly constituencies.
The seats of Bhopal, Guna, Rajgarh, Vidisha, Morena, Bhind (SC), Gwalior, Sagar and Betul (ST) are being contested in MP in the third phase of Lok Sabha polls today.
Around 55 per cent average voting was registered across the nine Lok Sabha constituencies of Madhya Pradesh by 3 pm on Tuesday.
The seats of Bhopal, Guna, Rajgarh, Vidisha, Morena, Bhind (SC), Gwalior, Sagar and Betul (ST) are being contested in MP in the third phase of Lok Sabha polls today.
According to MP Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Anupam Rajan, polling is being conducted peacefully across the state.

He said that till 3 pm, Morena registered 48.23 per cent voting, Bhind (SC) recorded 44.18 per cent, Gwalior registered 49.60 per cent and Guna registered 60.16 per cent polling.
Similarly, 53.08 per cent voting was registered in Sagar, 59.87 per cent in Vidisha, 50.16 per cent in Bhopal, 59.63 per cent in Betul (ST) and 63.69 per cent polling was registered in Rajgarh Lok Sabha constituency till 3 pm.
