BJP questions AAP’s women’s scheme
Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva on Monday accused Delhi Chief Minister Atishi of initiating registrations for a women’s honorarium scheme without proper notification or budgetary provision.
The Delhi BJP chief said, “The fact that Arvind Kejriwal did not appear today in the investigation of Delhi Jal Board has made it clear that Kejriwal is corrupt.”
Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva on Monday said evading ED notices shows that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is not in a position to face investigation or the court of law.
He said Kejriwal is aware that his hollow arguments may work in press conferences, but cannot stand before investigation or judicial authorities, which was the reason behind him not joining the probe.

He further said that in the latest case of alleged irregularities in Jal Board, the officials concerned in the year 2018, had noted that a company named N.K.G. should not be given the contract, but the Kejriwal government still awarded the contract to the firm, Delhi BJP chief claimed.
Sachdeva further slammed AAP government claiming that presently, the DJB is inundated in corruption with scams all around.
Earlier, the Delhi BJP president had said that the party has always pointed out that the alleged Jal Board scam is bigger than the liquor policy scam.
Sachdeva had also claimed that when the Kejriwal government came to power, at that time the Jal Board was making a profit, but now in the present day, the water agency is incurring heavy losses.
