The law and order will crumble, and crimes like theft, rapes and robberies may rise in the country, he alleged.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday said the CAA was not in favour of the country and will result in more and more migration from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan, ultimately leading to problems.
Kejriwal claimed that with such a number of migrants, it will lead to chaos as they will need a place to settle, and when a large number of people will suddenly arrive, it is likely that there will be a situation of chaos.
The law and order will crumble, and crimes like theft, rapes and robberies may rise in the country, he alleged.

Launching a scathing attack at the saffron party, he further alleged that they have brought this law to bring in around 1.5 crore people and then turn them into a vote bank.
“We must learn this from foreign countries who opened their doors and later faced consequences and have now restricted entry,” he said referring to countries like the UK and Canada.
He further claimed that lakhs of people have left India due to the BJP’s policies and style of governance, and said if they want to bring in people, then they should bring such industrialists and businessmen back who are capable of providing employment opportunities to fellow Indians.
“In the last 10 years, 11 lakh industrialists and businessmen left India, and the BJP should bring them back. They will provide employment to children of our country,” said Kejriwal
Wherever BJP’s votes are less, poor people from other countries will be settled in slums there, so that BJP’s permanent vote bank can be created, he further alleged.
The AAP convener further criticised the BJP, saying had the saffron party worked properly during the past 10 years, there would be no need to bring CAA just before elections.
Sharpening his attack, he said, “On one hand, inflation and unemployment are at their peak in the country, and on the other, BJP wants to bring Pakistanis to India and provide employment to their children.”
He said the money which is for the country’s development will be spent on ”settling Pakistanis here”.
The Union Home Ministry on Monday notified the rules for the implementation of CAA that was passed by Parliament in December 2019.
Kejriwal accused the BJP of starting an unconventional trend, saying that, “No country wants to bring the poor people from neighbouring countries to their home, and puts in place measures to prevent entry of such people into their territories. The BJP is opening doors of the country to people from neighbouring nations, and by doing this, the saffron party is going against the convention, the AAP supremo added.
Kejriwal, giving reference to the North East region, said the government’s move was dangerous, and added that the people of the region were already hit by this, especially Assam, as their culture is at stake due to the illegal migration from Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, the Delhi CM in a post on ‘X’ said, “With the implementation of CAA law, a large number of people from Pakistan and Bangladesh will come and settle in our country. Where will they be settled? Would you like people from Pakistan to live in a slum in front of your house? Would you feel safe? Law and order will collapse. And who will these people be? What will happen to the security of the country?”
