Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday said that India is poised to become the world’s third-largest economy during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s third term.

Addressing the Nari Shakti Vandan program held at Sugar Mill Ground, the Chief Minister said, “With India becoming the third-largest economy, the income of every individual in the country will rise, leading to enhanced prosperity in people’s lives.”

During the program, the CM inaugurated/laid the foundation stone of 673 development projects worth Rs 679 crore. He emphasized that the entire nation is committed to realizing the vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (developed India), with widespread support for ‘Fir ek bar Modi Sarkar’ (Modi government once again).

He expressed confidence that the NDA would secure more than four hundred seats in the upcoming elections.

Moreover, he emphasized that the dream of having Ramlala seated in Ayodhya, cherished by our ancestors, has finally come true. The five-century-long wait has concluded with the arrival of Ramlala.

“The Congress and SP governments would never have been able to accomplish this task. Double engine government means the development of the state and the country while honoring our heritage.”

CM Yogi highlighted that Deoria, once renowned as a sugar bowl in the country, suffered due to the negligence of previous administrations, causing Deoria and Kushinagar to fall behind.

“The closure of sugar mills and their sale at meager prices by past governments led to prevailing poverty in these regions.”

He mentioned that after the double engine government came to power in the state, efforts were initiated to revive the Pipraich and Munderwa sugar mills.

“Additionally, our government is going to start a college of the Agricultural University being built in Kushinagar, in Deoria. The land of nature, God, and sages will no longer lag”, he stated.

CM Yogi further mentioned that under the double engine government, significant progress has been made in Deoria. This includes providing toilets to 244,000 families under the Swachh Bharat Mission, offering free gas connections to 195,000 families through the Ujjwala Yojana, electrifying 1,383 majras, and opening Jan Dhan accounts for 1,084,000 people.

Under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Ayushman cards have been issued to 671,000 families, while 85,000 ‘gharaunis’ have been distributed.

The CM stated that in Deoria, 17,358 poor families have been provided houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), 1389 poor families have been given houses under the Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana and 24000 poor families have been given houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) .

Prior to the event, CM Yogi inaugurated and visited an exhibition showcasing ODOP products. Subsequently, he distributed house keys, approval letters, Ayushman cards, and smartphones to beneficiaries of various government schemes on the stage.

The program was attended by Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, Transport Minister Daya Shankar Singh, Minister of State for Rural Development Vijay Lakshmi Gautam, Deoria MP Dr Ramapati Ram Tripathi, Salempur MP Ravindra Kushwaha, MLA Dr Shalabh Mani Tripathi and a large number of BJP workers and common people.
