On this occasion, the Chief Minister also gifted development projects worth more than Rs 222 crore to Bansgaon Lok Sabha constituency. This includes the inauguration of 20 development projects valued at more than Rs 68 crore and the laying of the foundation stone for 17 projects worth over Rs 154 crore.
CM Yogi expressed that the CBG plant exemplifies the transformation of waste into wealth, ultimately augmenting the income of farmers. He emphasized: “This endeavor will actualize the proverb ‘aam ke aam, guthliyon ke daam.'”
Reflecting on the past, CM Yogi recalled how decades ago, the sugar mill in Dhuriapar struggled to operate due to the scarcity of sugarcane, leading many to believe that progress was unattainable. “But, in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, the industry is flourishing here now.”
Highlighting the unprecedented development in Dhuriapar, CM Yogi remarked, “Previously, the notion of Dhuriapar’s development seemed inconceivable. Yet, today, industries thrive, roads expand, flood protection measures are in place, and farmers benefit from various schemes such as Kisan Samman Nidhi.”
“Furthermore, 1.75 crore Ujjwala Yojana gas connections have been provided in UP, with free gas cylinders distributed during Holi and Diwali, benefiting the underprivileged.”
The Chief Minister mentioned that Dakshinanchal is being linked to GIDA through the Gorakhpur Link Expressway of the Purvanchal Expressway. Its work is in the final stage.
Simultaneously, the construction of Ramjanaki Marg is progressing rapidly. With the expansion of GIDA, Dakshinanchal is poised to enter a new era.
This development will enable local youth to find employment opportunities within the region, eliminating the need to seek jobs elsewhere.
Moreover, it is anticipated that individuals from across the nation and the globe will flock to Dakshinanchal for employment.
He highlighted that among the 120 individuals employed at the CBG plant, some hail from Gorakhpur, while others come from Lucknow, Jhansi, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, and Bengal. Skill development initiatives will further enhance opportunities for local youth.
Additionally, farmers stand to increase their income by supplying stubble, while cattle herders can benefit from supplying cow dung. CM said that PM Modi’s intention is also to increase the income of Annadata farmers. He said that when the ‘annadata’ is content, the nation will prosper.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the CBG plant will play a crucial role in conserving nature and the environment. “The stubble, which was previously burnt, will now be utilized here, providing additional income to farmers,” he stated.
“Moreover, the organic fertilizer produced will contribute to the health of ‘Mother Earth.’ Embracing organic fertilizers will ensure the sustained fertility of our fields,” CM Yogi added.
Asserting that under PM Modi’s leadership, the world witnesses a new India characterized by progress, faith, security, and abundant livelihood opportunities for the youth, Yogi Adityanath urged citizens to re-elect the Modi government. He emphasized that this would accelerate the pace of development and help realize the vision of a prosperous India.
In addition to inaugurating the CBG plant, CM Yogi, accompanied by Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, inspected the plant premises and examined the model showcased at the venue.
Meanwhile, Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said that in the coming time, there will be 100 CBG plants in UP.
Describing the CBG plant as a significant step towards environmental conservation, increasing farmers’ income, and achieving energy self-reliance, Puri noted that Indian Oil has invested Rs 165 crore in setting up one such plant.
In this plant, 200 metric tons of agricultural residue (paddy straw), 20 metric tons of press mud and 10 metric tons of cattle dung will be used daily.
Puri highlighted that the plant is expected to produce approximately 20 metric tons of biogas and 125 metric tons of organic fertilizer per day, contributing to agricultural productivity enhancement.
Expressing satisfaction with the Green Hydrogen policy introduced by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for environmental preservation, he said that there will be a rapid investment in this sector. Puri also announced plans to build a green hydrogen plant in his adopted district, Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh.
Commending Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, Puri stated that under his guidance, Uttar Pradesh is progressing towards becoming a trillion-dollar economy.
