Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Friday confirmed that the case involving the killing of six hostages in Jiribam has been handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA).

The counter-terrorism law enforcement agency uploaded a picture of the masked suspect wearing a cap and glasses on its official “X” handle. “NIA announces cash reward of 10 lakh rupees for information about the bomber in Rameshwaram Cafe blast case of Bengaluru. Informants identity will be kept confidential,” the agency said.
The Central agency shared phone numbers, postal address and email account for anyone, who wants to contact the concerned officials and send information about the prime suspect in the case, with an assurance that the identity of the informer would be kept secret.

The NIA, which has the mandate to probe and prosecute the offences such as terrorism, insurgency, and other such crimes, has been assigned the investigation into the blast case.
Several people were injured following the explosion at the Rameshwaram Café located in East Bengaluru.
