Netflix’s beloved makeover series, “Queer Eye,” is gearing up for its ninth season with a fresh face joining the Fab Five. Interior designer Jeremiah Brent has been confirmed as the newest addition to the charismatic crew, stepping into the shoes of the departing Bobby Berk. The streaming giant made the announcement, solidifying Brent’s role alongside Karamo Brown, Tan France, Antoni Porowski, and Jonathan Van Ness.

Brent’s expertise in interior design has earned him recognition in the industry, notably through his appearances on TLC’s “Nate & Jeremiah By Design” and HGTV’s “The Nate & Jeremiah Home Project,” where he showcased his talents alongside his husband, Nate Berkus. Their collaborative efforts have extended beyond television, including the development of various home decor lines and a joint feature in a Banana Republic campaign.

Having previously served as the design expert on Netflix’s “Say I Do” in 2020, Brent is no stranger to the streaming platform. His addition to the “Queer Eye” lineup brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective to the team. Additionally, Brent’s debut as an author with his book, “The Space That Keeps You: When Home Becomes a Love Story,” further demonstrates his passion for creating spaces that resonate emotionally with individuals.

Berk, who confirmed his departure from “Queer Eye” last year, leaves behind a legacy of transformative moments on the show, particularly in the recently released eighth season set in New Orleans. Following his announcement, speculations about tensions between Berk and France surfaced among fans and media outlets.

With production for the upcoming season scheduled to begin in Las Vegas this spring, fans eagerly anticipate the dynamic energy and heartfelt connections that the Fab Five, now with Brent in tow, will bring to the screen. While an official release date for Season 9 is yet to be announced, anticipation continues to build for the next chapter in the “Queer Eye” journey.
