Gaza ceasefire negotiations show ‘constructive’ progress: statement
The Gaza ceasefire talks were held here in a positive atmosphere and showed "constructive" progress, said Qatar, the United States and Egypt in a joint statement on Friday.
Violating the ceasefire, Pakistan Rangers on Wednesday resorted to unprovoked firing in Ranbirsinghpura area of Jammu district.
The BSF troops retaliated and returned the fire.
A BSF spokesman said: “On 14 Feb 2024 at about 5:50 pm, Pak Rangers resorted to unprovoked firing in RS Pura area which was befittingly responded by the BSF troops. Firing stopped at about 6:15 pm. Troops are on high alert.”
