The Delhi Police on Wednesday busted an inter-state arms supply syndicate based in Madhya Pradesh with the arrest of its key member.

The accused has been identified as Gandh Das Dawar, a resident of Burhanpur in Madhya Pradesh.

He was arrested from Rohini in north west Delhi on February 3, they said.
During questioning by police, Dawar revealed that he was involved in gun running activities across Delhi, NCR and Madhya Pradesh since the past two years, on the directions of one Dayal.
The accused used to get Rs 1,000 per pistol in the deals, while a semi-automatic pistol was sold for Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000.
Police have also seized a cell phone and a SIM card used by the accused.
A case under relevant sections of law was registered in this connection and investigation is being done to find out linkages of the syndicate, they added.
