On a two-day visit to Kangra Parliamentary constituency, earlier Nadda held a grand road show in Dharamshala.
“During the Congress tenure, India’s image was that of a corrupt, backward country that could not stand on its own feet and had compromised its self-respect. However, in 2014, Modi after taking over the reins of the country worked tirelessly to change the image of the country, as a result of which today India is recognized as a glorious country,” he claimed.
“Our country has taken a big leap towards development and is rapidly moving towards self-reliance,” he said, adding that today the whole world listens to India and the Prime Minister with seriousness and this is the picture of changing India.
Modi is not only preserving the cultural heritage of India but is also taking the country towards overall inclusive development, he said, adding that all sections of the society have been empowered as a whole, he added.
“Today, the caste chains that kept the people of the country away from unity have been broken. The entire country is moving forward with the concept of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas,” he said.
Referring to the interim budget, Nadda said that this budget is dedicated to the development of the country.
Taking a jibe at Congress, Nadda said, “Earlier during the Congress rule, the country was known for scams, but under the BJP rule the country is being known for its rapid success. Under the leadership of Modi, the country has come out of scams and is moving on the path of success. Modi has ushered in the politics of development and self-reliance.”
He appealed to the public to once again vote for the lotus symbol to elect Modi as PM of the country with an overwhelming majority, so that India becomes the third largest economy in the world in 2027-28 under his leadership.
