Dr Sunil Kumar Sharma’s two technology-based books Artificial Intelligence and ChatGPT were released in a function organized by Vani Prakashan and Bhartiya Bhasha Parishad in the press corner of the International Kolkata Book Fair.
A discussion was also organized on the topic ‘Artificial Intelligence, Society and Literature’. In the programme, chaired by senior writer-critic Dr Shambhunath, litterateur Mrityunjay Srivastava, historian Hitendra Patel, writer Dr Sunil Kumar Sharma and executive director of Vani Prakashan Group Aditi Maheshwari Goyal expressed their views.

Senior critic Dr Shambhunath said, “It is yet to be clear how much artificial intelligence will prove to be an achievement of civilization. Robots can’t be a substitute for humans. Despite this, such books should come into society and they should be welcomed, they enrich the knowledge of society.”
Poet and technologist Dr Sharma said, “Artificial Intelligence is required to be used as per the need and it might bring a big revolution in industrial development. However, AI should be used for human welfare and the development of civilization by expanding human capabilities.
