Amid rumours of divorce with former Indian tennis star Sania Mirza, veteran Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik on Saturday announced his marriage with the country’s actress Sana Javed.
Malik’s new marriage with Javed has surprised people on both sides of the border as there was no official confirmation on his divorce with Sania Mirza.
In a social media post on ‘X’, Malik posted two pictures from his marriage ceremony with Sana Javed.

“And we created you in pairs,” he captioned the post.
Javed also posted images of the marriage ceremony with the same caption on her Instagram page. She has also changed her name on Instagram form Sana Javed to Sana Shoaib Malik.

Malik had married Sania Mirza in 2010. The two got married in traditional Muslim ceremony in Hyderabad. In 2018, the couple had welcomed their first son Izhaan.
While neither of them spoke about their separate rumours in Public, Mirza on Wednesday shared a cryptic post on her Instagram page. In the post, she mentioned divorce and spoke about life not being easy.
“Marriage is hard. Divorce is hard. Choose your hard. Obesity is hard. Being fit is hard. Choose your hard. Being in debt is hard. Being financially disciplined is hard. Choose your hard. Communication is hard. Not communicating is hard. Choose your hard. Life will never be easy. It will always be hard. But we can choose our hard. Pick wisely,” she wrote.
