The team behind Ravi Teja’s film ‘Eagle’ seeks Film Chamber intervention amidst a potential clash on February 9th, following Sundeep Kishan’s release announcement.
In a fresh turn of events, the Telugu film industry finds itself entangled in another controversy as the team behind Ravi Teja’s much-anticipated film, “Eagle,” raises concerns with the Film Chamber. This development follows a bold statement from actor Sundeep Kishan, who adamantly declared his intention to release his film on February 9th, setting off alarm bells for the “Eagle” team.
Originally slated for release on January 13, 2024, during the festive Sankranthi period alongside films like “Guntur Kaaram,” “Saindhav,” and “Naa Saami Ranga,” the makers of “Eagle” faced a pivotal decision. Persuaded by influential figures like Dil Raju and other producers from the Producers Council and Film Chamber, they opted to step out of the festival window. In return, Dil Raju and the Film Chamber assured the “Eagle” producers that no competing film would clash with their release.
Choosing February 9th as the new launch date seemed to resolve the scheduling dilemma for “Eagle.” However, recent developments indicate that other films, including Sundeep Kishan’s “Ooru Peru Bhairavakona,” “Yatra 2,” and the dubbed version of “Lal Salaam,” are gearing up for a theatrical debut on the very same day – February 9, 2024.

Amidst these brewing tensions, People Media Factory, the production company spearheading “Eagle,” has taken a proactive stance. They have penned a letter to the Film Chamber of Commerce, earnestly requesting intervention in the matter. The letter implores the Film Chamber to ensure that the previously agreed-upon date for “Eagle” remains uncontested, emphasizing the commitment made by Dil Raju and the Film Chamber themselves.
As the industry awaits the Film Chamber’s response, the unfolding drama adds a layer of uncertainty to the release calendar, leaving fans, enthusiasts, and stakeholders on the edge of their seats. The tussle between film releases underscores the intricate web of negotiations and arrangements within the dynamic realm of the Telugu film industry.
