Rajasthan Education Minister Dr BD Kalla announced in the Legislative Assembly that his department has given appointments to deserving candidates against 81122 posts in the last four years, while the recruitment for 90262 new posts was under process.
He said that 50169 promotions have been given to employees in various cadres and 317 new primary schools have been opened in the state by the present government, while replying to his budgetary demand debate last night.
Information and Communication Technology (ICT) classes would be operationalised in 17,400 government senior secondary schools in the state, Dr Kalla assured. The ICT studios were being set up in Bikaner, Udaipur and Jaipur, he added.
On the demand of Opposition MLAs for a unified transfer system, Dr Kalla said the new transfer policy for 3rd grade teachers was underway and would be finalized soon.
The Education Minister said that the state government has taken a special initiative of innovation in the form of Mahatma Gandhi English Medium School.
Pre-primary classes have also been started in these schools of the state and parents and students have shown a good attitude and response towards these schools.
