Extending a helping hand to quake-hit in Turkey, Syria
In keeping with its motto, “Vasudhev Kutumbkam”, Springdales School Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi reaches out to Turkey, Syria with aid in their hour of need.

Young Springdalians are all set to reach out, share and show that they care. In keeping with their school’s motto, “Vasudhev Kutumbkam”, the Springalians sent aid to the earthquake victims of Turkey and Syria.
The devastating earthquake and the enormous loss of lives and livelihoods left a deep impact on young Springdalians and the Interact Club of the school, motivating them to swing into action to launch a donation drive in coordination with the Embassies of Turkey and Syria in New Delhi.

Woolens, shoes and rice packets were sent from SpringDales to the embassies from where these relief materials will be airlifted to the respective countries as part of Operation ‘DOST’ – an ongoing initiative by the Government of India to aid the people of Turkey and Syria in their hour of need.
A total of 325 Afghan refugees have been deported to Afghanistan from Turkey over the past two days, according to a statement from Afghanistan's Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation on Sunday.
One person was killed and seven others injured on Friday in forest fires raging across the northern countryside of the northwestern province of Latakia since Thursday, according to Syrian state TV.
“We’re staying overnight (in Turkey) and then go straight to London, training Saturday. We expect, of course, Bruno back and, hopefully, also Jonny Evans,” he said.
