Odisha: SIM swap racket busted, two arrested
The Bhubaneswar urban police on Saturday cracked down on a SIM swapping racket by arresting two persons from a mobile service provider.
The Bhubaneswar urban police have arrested three persons on the charge of beating to death an inmate undergoing rehabilitation at a drug de-addiction centre here, police said on Thursday.
The victim – Sarbeswar Behera – succumbed to injuries at a private hospital here yesterday after allegedly being beaten up by staff of the de-addiction centre.

The wooden plank used for committing the crime was seized. Three assailants were arrested after veracity was found in the FIR lodged by the deceased’s mother, police said.
