Minor reports of violence were received from Meerapur, Sismau, and Kundarki assembly segments, but by and large, the voting was peaceful, EC officials claimed.

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the Global Investors Summit would start on February 10 under the guidance of the Prime Minister and all the districts will be connected with the main function.
During his interaction with the Ministers in Lucknow on Saturday, Yogi asked them to invite local entrepreneurs and investors in the district programmes. He said that it would be for the first time that investment would be made in all the 75 districts of the State simultaneously on one day.
The doors of immense possibilities will open for all the districts,” the Chief Minister told the Ministers at his residence on Saturday evening.

Yogi also organised millets dinner for the Ministers with asking them to invite public representatives on millets feast in their respective areas.
The respective Minister would be in charge of the concerned district for the next one year, said the Chief Minister adding that the Ministers in charge should be updated about the situation in their district and visit the district at regular intervals.
“This district tour program must be of at least 24 hours duration. Involve public representatives in the meetings to be held during the district tour. Review law and order and government schemes,” he added.
