The Uttar Pradesh Congress has launched its campaign ‘Hath Se Hath Jodo’ in the state on the Republic Day, which is an extension of Rahul Gandhi led ‘Bharat Jodo Padyatra.’
The state Congress president Brijlal Khabri launched the campaign here on Thursday.
The aim of this campaign is to spread the messages of Rahul Gandhi”s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ to every household of the state for the next two months.
Khabri said while launching the campaign that the country’s economy is being ruined by creating enmity among people in the name of religion.
“On the one hand, more taxes are being collected from the people but inflation is being imposed on the masses. On the other hand, the loans of industrialists are being waived and the poor, labourers, farmers and middle class are not being given any kind of facility,” he said.
“The country’s wealth is getting accumulated with a few people and the majority of the people are becoming unemployed and poor, along with this they are also facing the brunt of inflation ” he said.
He said that the aim of this campaign is to make people aware of all these issues in the next two months.
“The campaign’s goal is to reach every house in the village by walking from one village to another. The flag will be hoisted in every village, stickers related to the campaign will be pasted on every house. The campaign will end with a grand rally. Besides, there will be a conference in every district” the UP unit Congress president said in a statement here on Friday.
He said that party leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will take out a women’s march in every state capital and a women’s manifesto will be released in the closing rally.
“Coordinators have been appointed in every block to lead this entire campaign. The participation of Congress leaders and workers will be ensured in the District Conference and Maha Rally,” he added.
