Punjab CM extends a red-carpet welcome to industrialists
Inviting the captains of industry to visit the state in the Invest Punjab Summit slated to be held next month at SAS Nagar, Bhagwant Mann said the summit being organised on 23-24 February will prove a milestone in giving a major fillip to industrial growth of the state.

Extending a red-carpet welcome to industrialists, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, who visited the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday, said the day is not far when Punjab will emerge the industrial hub of the country.
Speaking to reporters after performing the Bell Ringing ceremony here at the BSE, the CM showcased Punjab as a land of opportunities and invited the companies to invest in the state. He said entrepreneurs will be immensely benefited by investing in the state, which is rapidly emerging as the industrial hub of the country.
Mann said Punjab boasts of complete communal harmony, peace and amity, which are mainly responsible for overall development and prosperity of the state.

He urged the industrialists to make optimum use of this congenial atmosphere backed by excellent infrastructure, power, skilled human resources and best industrial and work culture to spread their business.
The CM said the state government was always open to new ideas and innovations to boost the industrial growth in Punjab. He said the state government has already finalised the arrangements for this mega event. Mann said the main motive behind giving fillip to industrialisation in the state is to reverse the trend of brain drain in the state by opening new vistas of employment for the youth.
A workshop was organised to explore the transformative role of digital technologies with focus on enhancing financial literacy, protecting investors, and fostering sustainable growth in the capital markets.
They will be administered oath by Governor Gulab Chand Kataria. The newly inducted ministers were called by AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi on Sunday.
