Political leaders across the party line in Uttar Pradesh on Friday have expressed their condolences on the death of veteran socialist leader Sharad Yadav yesterday.
UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath in his condolence message on twitter says,” the demise of former Union Minister Sharad Yadav is very sad. Humble tribute to him!”
” I pray to Lord Shri Ram to give the departed soul a place in his holy feet and strength to the bereaved family members to bear this sorrow. Om Shanti!,” he further said.
Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav in his tweet said,” the demise of the great socialist leader respected Sharad Yadav is extremely heart-wrenching.”
” May God give peace to his soul and strength to the bereaved family members to bear this loss. Om Shanti,” he wrote.
Bahujan Samaj Party ( BSP) supremo Mayawati in her tweet wrote, ” the news of the demise of Sharad Yadav, a well-known name and face in the country’s politics and a member of both houses of Parliament and a former minister for a long time, is very sad. My deepest condolences to his family and all his loved ones. May God give them all the strength to bear this sorrow.”
UP Deputy CMs Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brsjesh Pathak have also expressed their grief at the death of Sharad Yadav.
