Two-day long 83rd All India Presiding Officers Conference will begin at Rajasthan Legislative Assembly on January 11.

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will inaugurate the conference to be attended by 265 delegates including 21 Speakers, 6 Council Chairman, and 13 Deputy Secretaries, said Dr CP Joshi, Rajasthan Assembly Speaker, during a press conference here.

The discussions would be held in two sessions, covering leadership of Indian democracy in G-20 summit, Digital Parliament, responsive and productive, convergence of state legislatures and the need to maintain a harmonious relationship between the legislature and the judiciary in accordance with the spirit of the Constitution, added Dr Joshi.

Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra will be the Chief Guest of the closing ceremony. A book exhibition will jointly be organised by Parliament Library and the State Assembly Library. Legislative Secretaries’ 59th conference will also be held for one-day on January 10.
