On the occasion of 80th Foundation Day of UCO Bank, Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Director (DFS) was invited as the Guest of Honor at the function organized on 6th January 2023 at Zonal Office, New Delhi. Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Director (DFS) and Sh. Ambikanand Jha, General Manager and Zonal Head, UCO Bank, New Delhi garlanded the portrait of the founder of the bank Sh. Ghanshyam Das Birla and lit the lamp. Along with him, Mr. Sukhdev Singh, Deputy General Manager posted in Field Inspectorate, F.C.C. Branch Head and Deputy General Manager Sh. B.S. Bhakuni, A.M.B. Branch Head and Assistant General Manager Sh. Panigrahi, Deputy Zonal Head Sh. Lokesh Agarwal, Assistant General Manager Sh. Akshay Kumar, Retail Branch Head and Assistant General Manager Sh. Suman Kumar and Service Branch Head Sh. Ravinder Singh lit the lamp. On this occasion, Assistant General Manager Sh. Suman Kumar recited the UCO Bank’s Vision and Mission statement.
Thereafter, Dr. Sanjay Kumar and Sh. Ambikanand Jha inaugurated the blood donation camp and free health checkup camp. The 80th Foundation Day of the Bank was celebrated with joy and a number of events were organized across all 83 branches of the Zone located in Delhi-NCR region.
In addition to the above programme, Sh. Ambikanand Jha, General Manager and Zonal Head, New Delhi distributed stationery kits to 150 children at DMC Primary School, Begumpur, donated almirah & chairs to the school and planted 25 saplings at Nagar Nigam Pratibha Vidyalaya, Gautam Nagar under the CSR initiative of the Bank.

In the evening, a meeting of some reputed customer from various branches was organized at Zonal Office, New Delhi.
