In a multimillion-dollar deal that has come as a big surprise for many, Cristiano Ronaldo has joined Saudi Arabian Club Al Nassr FC that will keep him in the country till 2025. Reportedly, Ronaldo is now the costliest player in the history of football after signing this contract.

It is said the deal will be for two and a half years and Ronaldo will be earning £177 million every year at the club, which is around Rs. 1770 crore. The Al Nassr has 9 championships to their name and are the second most successful club in Saudi Arabia.

This is a signing that will not only inspire our club to achieve even greater success but inspire our league, our nation and future generations, boys and girls to be the best version of themselves. Welcome, Cristiano to your new home,” the Al Nassr club announced on its official social media account on Saturday.

“I am fortunate that I have won everything I set out to win in European football and feel now that this is the right moment to share my experience in Asia,” said the Portuguese captain, who is all set to leave the European leagues for the very first time in his career.
