According to a media report, many of Jet Airways’ pilots and senior officials are alleged to have quit their job due to the lack of clarity around the airline’s relaunch.

The chiefs of the departments of engineering and human resources are among the top officials who have reportedly left, reports added, citing sources.

Additional claims that cited sources, Jet Airways temporarily limited the salary of a group of employees in November and placed a large number of them on unpaid leave.

The Jalan-Kalrock consortium informed the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) last month that paying extra to settle staff provident fund and gratuity debts totaling more than Rs 200 crore wasn’t included in its initial resolution plan, which was approved by the NCLT in 2021. All of these developments have occurred since then.
