The directive came after a high-level meeting involving senior officials from the Revenue Department, Minority Welfare Department, and the Waqf Board.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president Ashwani Sharma said the total failure of AAP is leading to the exodus of industries to other states while Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is inviting industrialists to come to Punjab.
Days after industrialists from Punjab met Uttar Pradesh (UP) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to discuss possibilities of investment in various sectors in UP, Opposition parties in Punjab are blaming the deteriorating law and order situation in the state under the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government for the exodus of industries to other states.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president Ashwani Sharma said the total failure of AAP is leading to the exodus of industries to other states while Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is inviting industrialists to come to Punjab.
He said the existing industry was relocating to other states as the policies of AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal, Ragav Chadda and Bhagwant Mann were creating an non conducive atmosphere for industry to flourish in all ready cash starved Punjab.

“It is alarming that the chief minister is not paying attention to the dire situation arising from rapidly deteriorating law and order situation. Punjab needs more industries to create employment for the youth but unfortunately the trio of AAP are propagandists and have no real genuine interest to work for a better future of the state,” Sharma added.
The BJP leader said in the recent time Industrialists have gone to Uttar Pradesh government and offered to set up industry worth Rs Two lakh crore.
“The AAP government should hang its head in shame that Punjabi Industrialists want to relocate. In the last eight months, the chief minister has been busy keeping the AAP supremo in good humour and has not given time to governing the state,” he added.
Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal asked CM Bhagwant Mann to resign immediately if he really had the interests of Punjab at heart while asserting that AAP was leading the state to ruin by presiding over the flight of industry from the state besides indulging in scams including a Rs 300-crore advertisement scam.
Addressing a press conference here, the SAD president said the last nine months had been the worst in the history of Punjab. “No one is safe. Particularly vulnerable are businessmen and traders who are being forced to cough up ransoms on a daily basis. The situation is such that leading industrialists are approaching the Uttar Pradesh chief minister to invest in that state,” Badal said adding the exit of industry from Punjab would result in massive unemployment and would lead to civil unrest.
