For better preparedness to face to deal with a terror threat, the police personnel visited the Alwar district of Rajasthan for long-range firing practice.
In view of the upcoming Republic Day, police personnel from North-West Delhi are gearing up to beef up security of the district.
Apart from taking security measures across the district before the Republic day celebrations, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), North-West Delhi, Usha Rangnani is going an extra mile to make sure that the police team she leads should be ready to deal with any eventuality.
According to the DCP, the district police are being trained for combat at every front.

Meanwhile, for better preparedness to face to deal with a terror threat, the police personnel visited the Alwar District of Rajasthan in the early hours of Thursday for long-range firing practice. During the practice, the police teams honed their shooting skills.
On the other hand, the DCP briefed the staff about anti-terror measures to be taken up. She also directed the staff to enhance police presence in the area so as to ensure safety and security of citizens.
The staff posted at different police stations including beat staff is especially directed to increase patrolling in their respective areas and ensure a regular vigilance over the area marked as dark spot.
