NIA attaches assets belonging to main accused in killing two civilians
The property of Adil Manzoor Langoo was attached in connection with the brutal killing of two non-locals at Srinagar's Shala Kadal in February this year.
The National Investigation Agency has accused 2 Pakistani nationals, Salman and Abu Ibrahim, among 11 in the brutal beheading of a tailor in Udaipur.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA), probing the Kanhaiya Lal beheading case, has indicted 11 persons including 2 Pakistani nationals, in its chargesheet filed in a local court on Thursday.
According to the NIA Public Prosecutor, identified as Gaus Mohammed and Mohd Riyaz, the two accused have been charged under the various Sections of the IPC 302 (34) for murder, 452, 153, 295 and sections 16, 18 and 20 of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967.
The country’s premier investigating agency accused 2 Pakistani nationals Salman and Abu Ibrahim in the case alleging their conspiracy.
The NIA court is expected to take up the next step on January 3 next year, where another accused lodged in the high security jail would, also be produced in the court.

On September 23, the special court had granted 90 days more to the NIA to file the chargesheet in the brutal murder case.
Kanhaiya, a tailor by profession, was beheaded by 2 assailants at his shop in Dhanmandi area of Udaipur in the afternoon of June 28 over a facebook post, which the Muslim hotheads found to be blasphemous.
Two accused, who were fleeing on a bike after allegedly committing crime, were arrested from Bhim area in Rajsamand district. The accused were identified as Gaus Mohammed and Riyaz, and their identity is the same as they appeared in a video while entering the Supreme Tailor shop and giving measurements for their ‘jhola payjama”, they committed crime while two workers in the shop witnessed the crime. Riyaz has been working in a mosque as Khidmatgar, and Gaus in property trade.
