The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) is gearing up for G-20 Summit which will be held next year with upgradation of the New Delhi area with modern infrastructure.
This was informed by Kuljeet Singh Chahal, Member, NDMC on Thursday in a press briefing.
While giving details of the projects which are taken up by NDMC for G-20 Summit, he said under the ‘Make in India Lights’, the Council is working on various projects to illuminate the parks, gardens, pedestrian ways, flyovers, avenue roads, bazaar and markets with the dynamic lights.
The Public Partnership in every NDMC project for the G-20 Summit reflect the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said.
Chahal said there is a public partnership at every level for the preparations for G-20 Summit.
He informed that preparation would be based on the suggestions invited from Market Traders Association, Resident Welfare Association and general public.
Marathon and cycle rallies also planned during the G-20 Summit, he further added.
