Sukant Kadam wins silver at Indonesia Para-Badminton International 2024
In a hard-fought final, Kadam faced Indonesia’s Fredy Setiawan in the Men's Singles SL4 category, with the match ending 21-14, 21-14 in favour of the home favourite.
In the finals, Sukant continued to rule from the beginning. He defeated Chee Hiong Ang by scores of 21-14 and 21-15 in two straight sets.
Sukant Kadam, the third-ranked para-badminton player in the world, won the gold medal at the just-completed Peru Para Badminton International. Chee Hiong Ang of Singapore was defeated by the talented shuttler.
In the finals, Sukant continued to rule from the beginning. He defeated Chee Hiong Ang by scores of 21-14 and 21-15 in two straight sets. 32 minutes passed during the game. The top shuttler had a fantastic final and didn’t make a mistake.
Sukant Kadam eased past Guatemala’s Raul Anguiano in the semifinals with a score line of 21-10 and 21-12. The match lasted for 20 minutes and Sukant completely outplayed his opponent.

Talking about the same Sukant Kadam said, “I am really happy with the result, I have been training hard. I have had a good year and I hope that I continue with the same consistency next year.”
