BJP MLAs marshalled out of Delhi Assembly for raising DJB scam
Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly Ramvir Singh Bidhuri alleged that the BJP MLAs were denied permission to discuss the DJB issue.
The mega road show is planned to mobilise support for the party in the wake of the upcoming Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections.
BJP will hold Vijay Sankalp road shows at 14 places in Delhi on November 20 under the leadership of the party’s national president JP Nadda.
The party has planned the mega road show in view of the forthcoming Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections. Five Union ministers including JP Nadda, Rajnath Singh, Hardeep Puri and chief ministers of three states will participate in road shows.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa, Himachal Pradesh CM Jairam Thakur and Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar will hold the road shows at different places. BJP president of Uttar Pradesh Bhupendra Chaudhary and MP Dinesh Lal Nirhua will also take part in the road shows.

A total of 1,416 candidates are in the fray as per the figures available till the end of the deadline for withdrawal of nominations in the civic polls. Of the 1,416 candidates currently in the fray, 674 are men and 742 are women. Saturday was the last day for withdrawal of nominations.
Voting for 250 wards of the MCD is to be held on December 4. The results will be declared on December 7.
According to the Delhi State Election Commission, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Bharatiya Janata Party have fielded 250 candidates each. Apart from this, 439 independents are also in the fray. Congress fielded its candidates in 247 wards, Bahujan Samaj Party in 138, Samajwadi Party in one and Janata Dal (United) in 23 seats.
