Omar calls on FM Sitharaman, seeks Rs 6,000 cr Central assistance for J&K
The chief minister said the additional Central fund is required to tide over the difficult fiscal situation faced by his government.
In J&K’s Samba area, a lady was arrested on Tuesday for brutally abusing her toddler.
According to police sources, a video of a mother viciously striking her child went viral on social media.
Preeti Sharma, a resident of Upper Kamila Purmandal in Samba district, was recognised as the woman by police.

“An FIR has been lodged against the mother under the relevant sections of law. She has been detained for questioning”, the sources said.
