The Sri Lankan team will be on a tour to India in the first week of January and will participate in a 3 match T20I series.
After ending the year with a series win against West Indies, new challenges await the Indian team next year. The Indian team will have quite a busy calendar in 2020. The Virat Kohli led team will be up against Sri Lanka at the beginning of the year.

India-Australia Series

After fighting it out against the Sri Lankan team, the Australian team will come to India to take part in a three-match ODI series which will begin from 14 January. The first match will be played at the Wankhede Stadium. The second match will be played at Rajkot Stadium on 17 January. While the final match will be played in Bengaluru.
Tour of New Zealand
Within a month, after Sri Lanka and Australia, India will be up against New Zealand. However, this time it will not be a home series but India will be on a tour to New Zealand. India are scheduled to play a T20 Series, ODI Series and a Test Series in New Zealand. The first match will be played on 24 January which will be a T20 contest in Auckland. The second match will be played on the 26 January at Auckland, the third on 28 January in Hamilton, the fourth on 31 January in Wellington while the fifth and final T20I will be played on 2 February in Mt Maunganui.
Post the T20 Series, India will play an ODI series from 5-11 February which will be followed by a Test series.
India-South Africa Series
After a long tour to New Zealand, India will be up against South Africa next. This will be a home series. The South African team will come to India in the second week of March. There is a three-match ODI series scheduled between the two opponents.
IPL 2020
Post the South Africa series, the next edition of the Indian Premier League will be played which lasts roughly two and a half months.
