Manchester United sold many players in the summer transfer window including Romelu Lukaku and hoped to have a fresh start to the season. They also added more players in their squad to try and play with a fresh bunch of players to have more desirable results. However, as of now, it seems like Manchester United have lost more than they have gained by deciding to part ways with Romelu Lukaku.
Data released by Daniel Storey, a football reporter, confirms that the Belgian International has scored more goals than the entire Red Devils unit since the month of September.
Post-September 2019, Lukaku has 8 goals in 10 matches. In four of these matches, he failed to find the net. In the same period, Manchester United has scored 6 goals in 7 matches while in 3 of them, they did not score.
After Lukaku moved to Inter Milan, he was joined by another one of his former Manchester United teammate Alexis Sanchez. The latter too is having a relatively better stint with the Italian side after a flop show with the Red Devils. Sanchez, though, has only been loaned out to Inter Milan for a season and it remains to be seen if Manchester United permanently sell him to Milan.
