Manchester United experienced defeat in yet another Premier League encounter as Bournemouth edged past them, thanks to a goal from Joshua King. The defeat has taken Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s tally of losses to 21 in the Premier League. This has taken him past Jurgen Klopp who has lost 20 matches.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has managed as many as 50 matches in the Premier League so far, including his stint with Cardiff City and United and has already lost 21 of them. On the other hand, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has managed 154 Premier League games and lost only 20 of them.

To put things into perspective, the Red Devils manager has lost more matches than Klopp in 104 fewer matches.

Overall, the German strategist has managed 226 matches in which he has been on the winning side on 132 occasions, drawn 56 and has faced defeat in 38 matches.

He was a touching distance away from clinching the Premier League last season title but Liverpool were eventually left one point behind the champion side Manchester City. Liverpool have 31 points after 11 matches in the season so far and are at the top of the points tally. On the other hand, Manchester United are placed 10th in the points tally as they have managed to win just three matches.
