Swashbuckling Aussie opener David Warner continued his superb form in limited overs cricket as he scored an unbeaten 57 and helped Australia whitewash Sri Lanka with a 7 wicket win over the island country in the third and final T20I on Friday.
Batting first, Sri Lanka managed to score 142/6 in their quota of 20 overs. In response, David Warner continued his prolific run scoring form in the shortest format of the game and after a century in the first T20I and a half century in the second T20I, followed it up with yet another unbeaten half century in the final T20I.

Other than Warner, Australian captain Aaron Finch scored 37 runs while Steve Smith contributed 13 as they reached the target with 14 balls to spare.
Earlier, Kusal Perera top scored for Sri Lanka with 57 runs as Australian pace trio of Mitchell Starc, Kane Richardson and Pat Cummins picked up a couple of wickets each. The bowling performance, in general, by the Aussies also needs a special mention as they were right on the target and never allowed Sri Lankan batsman to get going.
