Beating the slowdown in the automobile industry, the luxury car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz India sold over 600 cars in the last week Dhanteras, with the majority of them sold in the Delhi-NCR region, reports said.
Other than Delhi, the company sold its vehicles in Mumbai, Pune Gujarat, Kolkata and Punjab on Dhanteras. Previously, during the Navratri festival, it had delivered more than 200 cars in Mumbai and Gujarat.
“The festive season has been satisfactory for us and we are glad to see an overwhelming response to our products from across markets. This impressive number of deliveries during the current festive season reiterates the increasing customer confidence and the trust in brand Mercedes-Benz for a luxury car buyer in a challenging market,” Mercedes-Benz India’s Managing Director and CEO Martin Schwenk.
On the other hand, following an unprecedented demand across the country, the company has already started pre-booking of its latest model SUV GLE. The model is scheduled to be launched before the Auto Expo 2020.
