Maharashtra: 3 dead after helicopter crashes near Bavdhan area in Pune
Three people died in a helicopter crash near Bavdhan in Pune district on Wednesday morning.
The landing was made after a technical glitch was reported.
Indian Army’s Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) carrying seven people including Northern Army Commander Lt General Ranbir Singh made an emergency landing in Mandi area of Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir at 2 pm on Thursday.
The helicopter is believed to have developed a technical snag due to which it crash-landed in Poonch district, officials said. Northern Army commander Lt Gen Ranbir Singh was part of the nine-member crew, including two pilots. No casualties have been reported so far, officials said.
